RETURNING TO THE SEARCH ORIGIN POINT IN THE SHORTEST TIME DURING SEARCH AND RESCUE OPERATIONS

Abstract

In the paper a problem of time reduction in the search of rescued object is considered, while carrying out search-and-rescue operations. The design method of radius of a circle of errors and determination of boundaries of square of the probable searched object location are submitted. The analytical and graphical solution of a task to determine an optimum search pattern for movement of the rescue vessel to arrive at the point of search is offered.
