RATIONALE DRIVE PARAMETERS OF SHIP STEERING GEAR WITH A LEVER REDUCTION
Abstract
The article discusses the possibility of increasing operational performance steering gears driven by vane actuator. The main shortcomings of common structures of the vane steering gears drive are analized. The theoretical study of the characteristics of the load on the steering-wheel drive car is given. On the base of theoretical researches requirements to drive the steering apparatus of high reliability and simplicity are established. The design of the steering apparatus drive with lever reduction, devoid of many of the shortcomings of the base of the vane actuator. The basic parameters of the proposed actuator lever reduction are theoretically proved. It is proved that the proposed introduction of the drive will simplify hydraulic steering gear pump through the use of a constant supply and reduce the size of the vane actuator.
